In addition to climate controlled custom storage units, the art storage building features oversized corridors, doorways, and other clearances to facilitate easy and safe access to large works of art. Environmental and security systems are integrated into the building design to insure optimum conditions for artwork storage. Security, safety, and consistent environmental conditions are core features of the building construction.

- Oversized access for the safe movement of large artworks: 12' minimum ceiling height / 10' minimum door width
- Custom built freight elevator with 12,000lb weight capacity
- No outside light or exposure within any of the storage areas
- UV shielded lighting throughout the premises
- Climate controlled storage with thermal barrier walls to maintain consistent temperature and humidity
- Construction is of non-flammable materials: masonry, steel, and concrete
- On-site office staffed with full-time Artex art handlers
